这几把刀子很朴实,又不失美观,鞘也漂亮。
这样的刃线,开刃到接近护手隔片处会有点不方便吧。

很多北歐刀都沒有 ricasso ,刀胚可以看出刀面一直磨到刀根了(有些日本刀也是這樣),看到一些他們用刀的方式,是用握拳的的方式握住刀柄,越靠近bolster的位置,切削的阻力力矩越小,所以他們喜歡用這部份工作不喜有沒有刀鋒的ricasso

At least here in Finland, the notion is that the guard serves no valid purpose. The closer to the blade you can get your hand, the more power and more precision you have in the cut. Very fine work is done between the edge and the thumb and a guard would only get in the way.
